Enroll by Grade Level

Kindergarten & Junior Kindergarten

Enrollment is currently being accepted for the 2025/26 and the 2026/27 school years.

Enrollment can only be accepted from a Parent/Legal Guardian of a student.

To enroll your student:
STEP 1
: Once you have reviewed the age requirements and eligibility please collect all of the required document for enrollment. Please view the Checklist & Detailed Instructions to start this process.
STEP 2: Complete Pre-Enrollment - please be sure you read the instructions on each page throughout the process. Keep your login information - it will be needed to make any changes, and we are unable to reset it for you.
STEP 3: The Enrollment Office will contact you on the status of the enrollment once your submission has been reviewed or if any additional forms or documents are required.

School of Choice enrollment will only be accepted during the open application window. Please visit the School of Choice page for more information.

Health Information Note: We can accept the health documents for your child if they were 4 years of age when the exam took place. You do not have to wait until their 5-year appointment to submit health information if you have everything from the 4-year visit.

A certificate of immunizations or waiver, vision screening test and hearing test must be received by the school district at the time of registration in order for enrollment to be completed.

A new Michigan law, passed in December 2023, requiring children entering their first year of school (K or 1st grade) to receive an oral health assessment. This assessment must be completed within six months before the start of school.

A link to the Dental Assessment Form can be found below and this completed form can be uploaded into pre-enrollment with your other documentation.

To help families meet this requirement, the Livingston County Health Department is partnering with Smile on Wheels to provide oral health assessments at school within the first 30 days for students who have not already completed a screening.

Grades 1-12

Enrollment is currently being accepted for the 2025/26 and the 2026/27 school years. This enrollment page applies to students who are new to Brighton Area Schools. This does not apply to currently enrolled students.

All forms and documents must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian at the time of enrollment.

STEP 1 - Collect all required documents for enrollment. We suggest printing the Enrollment Checklist to assist you in the collection of all required documentation. Enrollment Checklist

STEP 2 - Complete Pre-Enrollment to begin the enrollment process for your student. Please read all steps carefully, detailed instructions are provided for each page to assist you.

Please upload all of the documents into pre-enroll that you collected in STEP 1. Please load documents in PDF format, screenshots and photos will be rejected if they are of a low quality.

Please keep your login information -- it will be needed to make any updates or changes and we do not have access to reset passwords. It is best if you complete pre-enrollment on a computer or laptop -- it is not recommended to complete it on a mobile phone.

STEP 3 - The Enrollment Office will contact you relative to the status of your student's enrollment after submission. The office will advise if any additional documents is required.

Things to Know
Responses to submitted pre-enroll information are not immediate. Your patience is appreciated. Our office staff will reach out via email to confirm the status of your child's enrollment as soon as they are able.

All elementary, intermediate and middle school buildings are closed mid-June through the beginning of August.

SOC applications must be approved prior to any enrollment information being reviewed for non-residents.

The Bridge Alternative High School


Enrollment is currently being accepted for the 2025/26 and the 2026/27 school years.

All student enrollments must be completed by the parent or legal guardian of the student.

Acceptance for enrollment shall not be granted or refused based upon religion, race, color, national origin, sex, weight, marital status, or athletic ability.

For a new enrollment, please review the Enrollment Instructions & Checklist document before you begin this process. If your student is transferring from Brighton High School, complete only Step 1.

Step 1:  Bridge Intake & Policy Forms - These forms will be signed in person at your Entrance Interview.
Step 2:  Access Pre-Enrollment and upload all documents/ information
