Mission Statement

Brighton Area Schools offers 9 state-approved Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs designed to give students the knowledge, skills, and hands-on experience needed for success in both college and career.Our CTE programs prepare students for a wide range of career pathways by blending academic learning with real-world experiences.

Our CTE programs are fully funded to support the four critical components of a CTE classroom: classroom instruction, laboratory learning, work-based learning, and student leadership. This ensures students have access to industry-standard tools, updated curriculum, and career-aligned instruction—preparing them for both postsecondary education and immediate workforce entry.

Higher Education Credit

Every program offers articulation agreements with local community colleges and universities, allowing students to earn college credit while in high school.
