The Bridge Alternative High School offers a quality educational program for young people ages 14 to 19 who are seeking an alternative school setting with additional support to achieve success. The mission of The Bridge is to create a safe, caring, and supportive learning environment with an emphasis on inspiring students to achieve social, emotional, and intellectual success for post-secondary pursuits and professional work opportunities.
Program Components
Semester Calendar, consisting of a 4 day, Monday through Thursday class schedule with Enrichment Fridays for credit recovery, academic support and enrichment and vocational opportunities.
Caring, dedicated and highly qualified teachers
Differentiated instruction that fits varied learning styles and individual learning needs.
Smaller class sizes
Part-time options and individualized career planning for seniors
Michigan Merit Curriculum with options for a Personal Curriculum
Full-time on-site social worker
